UPDATE #1: 5pm, Fri, March 28th: I'll see what we can do to organize this, keep this from being canceled. Thanks! Scott Lane, SF Bay Ventures
SORRY...I HAVE TO CANCEL THIS...IF ANYONE WANTS TO TAKE IT OVER....PLEASE DO!!!
GreenDevCamp is being planned for Earth Day 2008 at Google HQ in Mountain View.
Over the weekend prior to International Earth Day, we are gathering technologists and enthusiasts together to talk about the following:
- How can companies, big and small, make their operations, code, practices, etc. more sustainable?
- In what ways can technology make our lives more green?
We will learn about as well as actually pitch in to develop technology and plans to do this (hence, the "Dev" part). We want to bring together developers, business people, designers, activists and concerned citizens to start conversations and projects that are committed to a more sustainable world.
The cost is free, but we are always looking for donations.
DATE: April 19-20, 2008 (aka the weekend before EarthDay)
Times: 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. both days
Location: Google HQ, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA> map

If we can, it'll be an all night camp out event focused on ideating, exploring, producing and launching technology and practices aimed at Green Technology and Policies.
