What is HealthCampNash and Why Should I Attend?

 

HealthCampNashville, a.k.a. HealthCampNash, is a BarCamp style mashup where anyone can come and discuss web 2.0 technologies and how they fit into the healthcare industry. Nashville is one of the nation's premiere central hubs for the healthcare industry, which means you can expect a great lineup of speakers and presentations.

 

 

 

When and Where?

 

While the official date and venue has yet to be determined, HealthCampNash will be held in Nashville, Tennessee sometime in early spring of 2009. Please be sure to check back for more information!

 

 

 

What Should I Bring?

 

You can bring just about anything you want (except weapons please), but here are some things you might find useful:

 

  • A laptop computer with wifi capabilities
  • A charger/power cord for your laptop, a power strip or extension, etc.
  • Business cards – you're bound to meet lots of great folks!
  • A notepad or journal
  • A camera, camcorder, etc

 

Who Should Attend?

 

Anyone who wants to learn more about the how the future of healthcare will be shaped by social media, online marketing, and other new technologies. HealthCampNash is a great place for geeks and healthcare gurus to exchange ideas and network with industry visionaries. This is a free community event, so come one, come all!
