Moving

 

So we're moving the BarCamp wiki over. The tricky part is that the new wiki we're using, PeanutButterWiki, uses a different syntax than KWiki. So we need your help. Here are some tips for converting the syntax and our list of pages we have left to convert. Just log in with the password c4mp to start editing. We'll redirect the DNS for barcamp.org over here once enough of the wiki has been ported over.

 

TIPS

 

moving from kwiki to pbwiki:
* all-caps sequences are not auto-linked - eg BarCampNYC needs brackets to link properly.
* The syntax [description here http://url/] does not work - use [http://url/ description here]
* emails can be inplace. just write it, we'll link it.
* Use aim:w33kly to make an AIM link.
* Use ! instead of =, !! instead of ==, and !!! instead of ===
* Use **bold** and ''italics'' instead of *bold* and /italics/
* Image URLs need to be bracketed - [http://url/pic.jpg]
* Use a ~ to keep a WikiWord from getting linked: ~DontLinkThis

The following pages have yet to be migrated from the old BarCamp wiki - if you see a link in red, click on "old" to see the source for the old page, then convert to PBwiki syntax and add it to the PBwiki! Your mom will be super proud of you!
