Hi and welcome to the first iPhoneDevCamp in The Big Apple. In the spirit of the ad-hoc nature of BarCamp, a small group of us have decided to capitalize on the news of the iPhone SDK and throw an impromptu event on developing for the iPhone. The event will
take place, Saturday, April 19th, 2008 at Polytechnic University .
NYC iPhoneDevCamp is a free event, but we do need some sponsors in order to make it happen. Please get in touch with hans@eds.org to discuss sponsoring the event. We don't need much to make an impact, just enough to cover the costs of bagels and coffee, or pizza from Grimaldi's for lunch.
Polytechnic University Brooklyn Campus - Building A
Six Metrotech Center, Brooklyn, NY 11201
Modeled in the camp unconference structure, iPhoneDevCamp is a no-holds-bars discussion, workshop/code-a-thon involving the newly released iPhone SDK. At iPhoneDevCamp you ask the questions and the experts provide the answers; at iPhoneDevCamp you discover your solutions to your most pressing problems. Like previous iPhoneDevCamps, there will be a number of break out rooms...
In keeping with camp tradition we hope to provide bagels/muffins, coffee/juices for breakfast and some oh-so-delicious Grimaldies pizza for Lunch. We always do our best to provide Vegetarian (vegan if requested) options.
Sponsors are needed to help pay for these goodies as iPhoneDevCamp is not organization (thus has no cash). Sponsorship can come in various amounts. If you're an attendee chipin a few bucks, if you're a company consider fully or partially sponsoring Breakfast, Lunch or after-camp drinks.
Sponsorship is generously brought to you by these fine folks!! Please help out if you can
Contact hans@eds.org to become a sponsor.
