2007-06-20 (RZ): We have a venue! Thank you, Adobe. Dominic Sagolla is my hero for making this happen, all from a Twitter posting by Chris Messina a few days ago. The Adobe news should attract additional media attention over the next few days.. We have some sponsors lined up and will announce the first set on Thursday or Friday. We need more sponsors! Attendees: 82.

2007-06-19 (RZ): I added a page with links to event coverage (iPhoneDevCampCoverage). We have found a venue that we're very pleased with, and will make this announcement on Wednesday. Two sponsors have come on board, which we will also be announcing on Wednesday. Everything is coming together. Attendees: 60.

2007-06-18 (RZ): I moved the Attendees section to a separate page to minimize editing errors. We had someone revert to an old version of the page for some reason, and I had to recover. We're not getting the Monday lift we thought we would. I think once we get a venue announced, things are going to move quickly. We had some great progress today that we hope to share with all of you on Tuesday. Attendees: 34.

2007-06-17 (RZ): I'm not expecting a lot of updates or signups for the event today. It's a Sunday (and Father's Day, at that). On Monday, with the full weight of the Internet traffic and some important venue discussions underway, we should see some noticeable changes. Attendees: 24.

2007-06-16 (RZ): whurley is working on getting us a venue. I am reaching out to some people before the public launch. Sponsorships are on hold until a venue is obtained. Chris created a venues page, iPhoneDevCampVenue, and promoted it on Twitter. whurley created a Twitter account, iPhoneDevCamp, for even status updates. whurley promoted the event on Digg, and it made the front page. Attendees: 17.

2007-06-15 (RZ): Moved site to the BarCamp wiki to allow for public editing. Holding off on promotion until a few key calls are returned. whurley is taking responsibility for facilities. Chris is taking responsibility for presentations and evangelism. I am doing sponsorships. Chris moved the wiki page to a new URL with proper capitalization. Attendees: 4.

2007-06-14 (RZ): Page created. Adding content now. This page may move before launch. We do not have a lot of time to put this event together, but rest assured - it will happen. If a venue in the Bay Area (California) cannot be reserved in the next few days, I will likely move this event to Portland where I can more easily get this organized in time. The other option would be a network of local camps (e.g. San Francisco, Austin, Portland, etc.) that could coordinate demos and launches on Sunday. Attendees: 1.
