The serious stuff: Kathryn Hill is a photojournalist, blogger, and deaf-tech consultant. Her photography work has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Cycle News, FHM, American Marketplace, Slow Food, and various online forums. She is the Editor-in-Chief of STONE DEAF PILOTS and has guest blogged on Wired and LAVOICE.
Kathryn considers herself a “digital bon vivant” and has been an Internet presence since the early 1990’s. As a photographer, she is in demand as a travel/lifestyle, wedding, and food photographer. Her photography blog won “Best Photo Blog” in the 2005 Deaf Blog Awards and she recently photographed the cover of Carly Milne’s upcoming book, Sexography. She has written about deaf issues on LAVOICE and has been featured on BoingBoing and Danger. Kathryn was also a contributor for author Regina Lynn’s book, The Sexual Revolution 2.0: Getting Connected, Upgrading Your Sex Life, and Finding True Love -- or at Least a Dinner Date -- in the Internet Age.
