Laurel Centre Social Entrepreneurship Bootcamp Intensive

Laurel Centre for Social Entrepreneurship is hosting a entrepreneurial intensive from May 12-14th at the University of Waterloo and we're currently looking for applicants who are seeking help in growing or starting their own business. The Intensive, which we have lovingly termed the "bootcamp", will run for three full days and will cover an in-depth exploration of the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for the budding or growing social entrepreneur.

 

The bootcamp will be an intimate setting with 20 keynote workshops presented to only 30 participants. Accommodations and meals are provided for the entire week and the venue will allow for excellent networking opportunities amongst the participants and presenters.

 

Details:

- 3 Day Event, March 12-14th (Mon - Wed), Full day program

- Fees are $250 for students and $450 for community members

- Students can apply for a grant in which $200 will be covered

- Fees include meals, living accomodations, and workshop materials

- Bob Copeland, associate vice-president of annual giving and alumni affairs at UW, on seeking sponsorship.

-Alan Quarry of Quarry Communications and John Baker of Aperio Inc. on successfully growing an enterprise.
