MacCamp is an ad-hoc gathering, inspired by BarCamp, born from the desire for Mac enthusiasts to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from attendees. Fresh from the Macworld Expo/SF and presumably the \'\'SteveNote\'\' , we\'ll have lots to talk about and explore. Note that the event will NOT be a campout-style all-night hackathon... there will be a Friday evening component with introductions and some plenary presentations/community conversations/brainstorming, and then Saturday all day will be Open Space style user workshops and presentations. ! Event details **When** Friday January 18th from approximately 6:00 PM PST until we are kicked out of the CNET office that evening. Saturday, January 10th from approximately 9:00AM to 6:00 PM. Please check back here or on the upcoming event page for schedule updates. **Where** CNET 235 2nd Street San Francisco, California 94105 \'\'Where to stay?\'\' Many fine spots nearby, and less expensive further out. ! Sponsors We\'d love to get Mac vendors, user groups, publications, websites, power users, and heck, even Apple. involved in helping us continue the conversation. Contact raines in the vicinity of a certain 3-letter computer name dot com. !
