Come join Mac User Group members, MacHeads, Mac Team members, Apple employees, Mac bloggers and journalists, and more in celebrating 30 years of the Mac community at MacCamp - all we need is you. This independent BarCamp-style event, this Saturday January 25th on the De Anza College campus in Cupertino, is an #unconference, a day-long user group meeting, reunion, and opportunity to connect, reminisce, express appreciation, tell stories, show off memorabilia.

Note that this event is entirely independent of the Mac 30th anniversary taking place immediately afterwards right nextdoor Saturday evening at the Flint Center, and is not endorsed by or affiiliated with Apple Inc. It's a separate admission -- by donation -- but we believe that some folks will come early to warm up for the evening, while others will simply come and enjoy the day -- and our top volunteers can earn a free ticket for the evening's event that we are looking forward to attending.

An unconference is a gathering where you and everyone else who comes helps set the agenda and brings something to teach or share. It is a place where, based on "Open Space Technology" tools, what goes on in the hallways and outside on the picnic tables is as important as the organized sessions. Come prepared to be surprised, and to use your power of mobility to get yourself to wherever you need to be to get the most from it.

We've taken a big risk by putting out the money to rent the space and do outreach. The rest is up to you.
