At MinneBar there will be a series of 20 minute demos of projects (personal or otherwise) sprinkled throughout the day. This page lists the currently suggested demos and who is planning on leading each. Right now it looks like we have time slots available for 9 demos. These bracket lunch and breaks and people can use the time to take in some demos or just have general discussion and to meet new people.

If you have some personal project or idea you would like to demo in this manner please list it in antichronological order and provide a bit of background on each:

  1. I (Dan Grigsby) am working on a re-implementation of SQLite in JavaScript for client-side JS apps. I could show the work-in-progress -- not necessarily practical, but hopefully interesting (project page ).
  2. A Pandora demo given by Neil Mix, builder of the Pandora music player.
  3. MindTouch demo (AaronFulkerson)
  4. Flock
  5. We could demo our JavaScript SOAP Bridge application as well as JS libraries for distribution market data, news content and a 2-way chat application. (Jamie Thingelstad)
  6. I'm sure I could setup a brief Xen demo (Eric Peterson)
  7. Setup and install a fully functional Asterisk@home Open Source PBX system from scratch (J Cruit)
  8. empty demo slot
  9. empty demo slot

NOTE: It may not be possible to accommodate all demos at the conference. Preference will be given to those demos in the order they were added. Please also note that while anyone can present or demo at minnēbar, demos and presentations should try to focus on a particular project, case study, or lessons learned rather than something like an overt sales message or pitch (those types of things generally aren't recieved well at these types events anyway).
