June 27th and 28th - New York City

 Homepage at ParticipationCamp.org

Finding new ways to invite citizens into the governance process.  Open government enthusiasts of all types — government representatives, technologists, developers, NGOs, wonks and activists — will gather to share knowledge on how to use new technologies to make our government truly participatory.

PCamp is free to attend.  Reserve your ticket now at pcamp.eventbrite.com

How PCamp Will Work

PCamp is an "unconference" which means that most of the sessions will be delivered by attendees of the conference.  We'll provide rooms and time slots, and the attendees will fill them with workshops, presentations, and roundtable discussions of their own devising.  While the actual assignments won't be made until after the conference begins, you are invited to start postig ideas now on the PCamp Sessions page.

The physical component of PCamp will be accompanied by a virtual component.   We will provide a set of web-based communications tools allowing participants from across the globe to host virtual unconference sessions.  Ideas for these may also be listed on the PCamp Sessions page.
