Sessions Offered

Session timings have not yet been finalised, but you can be sure that they will be something like 20 or 30 minutes in length with adequate additional time allowed for transitions.

The actual timings and actual sessions will be determined by the delegates on the day. A customary Grid is used for this.

The Grid & The Session Rooms

Sessions are not booked or organised like an ordinary conference, instead we will open up a “Grid” with empty slots. One column for each session room and one row for each time slot. There are 4 main session rooms at The Salmon Centre. Each of them will have a projector and screen.

Generally, the rooms can ach cope with around 30 people. One of them doubles up as the Open and Close space, and with a mix of people seated and standing, that one space alone can easily accommodate 100 people.

In parallel with the normal sessions, there are some adventurous things planned for the the 5th session space! Are you an active type?

The 6th session space is a micro-space with bean bags. It's suitable for up to 10 people who don't need anything except a space to talk.

When the grid opens, just after the welcome talk, you will be able to claim your slot on the grid by sticking up an index card with your session title and your name. Index cards, pens, and Blu-Tac are all provided for you in the morning so you will be ready when the grid opens.
