Description: PresentationCamp LA is a grassroots, self-organized event where participants meet on a Saturday morning, decide what they would like to learn, and who would like to teach, then they collaboratively set up the agenda and have a full day of learning.
We're calling this a "PresentationCamp" - and this page is located at www.barcamp.org - because the event is part of the "BarCamp" movement - an "un-conference" event where there is no formal organizer or sponsor, no pre-planned agenda, and no pre-set presentations - we all decide together on the day of the event what we will do and how we do it. A maximum of 100 participants pay a nominal fee of $10 to contribute toward expenses, but otherwise everyone participates as a volunteer, co-leader, co-presenter and co-learner.
PresentationCamp LA will focus specifically on helping you become a better thinker, storyboarder, visualizer and presenter. Drawing from the world-class talent in the Los Angeles media industry, we're aiming to bring in a mix of people who will teach, inspire, and share our presentation skills with one another. What can you learn about creating your live presentations from a professional storyboard artist, or an accomplished cinematographer? Join us and find out!
