The New York Product Management Association is proudly hosting Product Camp NYC!

When:  Saturday, July 18, 2009
Time: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Cost: Free

Welcome to ProductCamp NYC

In the spirit of BarCamp (www.barcamp.org), ProductCamp is a collaborative, user organized professional conference, focused on Product Management and Marketing topics. At ProductCamp everyone participates in some manner: presenting, leading a discussion, showcasing a best practice, or sharing their experiences. Others help with logistics, securing sponsorships, organizing sessions, or setting up/cleaning up.  This is a self organizing collaborative event that is designed be a fun, rewarding and a unique experience

ProductCamp is a great opportunity for participants to learn from, teach to, and network with professionals involved in the Product Management, Marketing, and  Development process from the New York City Metro area – and around the world!  [CLICK HERE TO REGISTER]

WOW!  I just noticed that Jeffrey Hayzlett, the "rock star" Chief Marketing Officer of Kodak is going!  He's signed up to speak about Kodak's Brand Transformation.  VERY COOL!

Sponsors Needed - click on this link to download the fact sheet

Although this event is free for attendees, we are supplying plenty of food, paying for facilities, and other stuff. We need some money. Hey, nothing is completely free.  We have two sponsorship levels. Please help!  Send email to Chuck Gehman (cgehman@mimeo.com) to learn more.  So far, we have several sponsors already lined up:

and several others. MANY THANKS TO OUR SPONSORS FOR MAKING PCAMP POSSIBLE!

Sessions & Topics

Rather than having pre-scheduled speakers, everyone who is interested in leading a session provides a brief (that's about a minute) pitch in the morning before we start.  Attendees then vote and those sessions receiving the highest votes are put on the schedule and groups form for intense learning.  Click here to propose a session or topic and view topics that will be held during Product Camp NYC.   Similar to other Product Camps, we are looking for a variety of sessions - roundtables, workshops, and panel discussions are welcome!   So share a best practice, talk about how a particular methodology works in the real world, or present and discuss a hot topic on the minds of product managers and marketers.

And don't forget - upload your session or an introduction to your session on our Brainshark portal.  Attendees can then view what your session is about prior to the event and your chances increase for being selected!

Brainshark: One of the sponsors of the event is Brainshark. Brainshark provides the ability presentations to be uploaded to a central location where a presenter can do a voice-over.  It's a very helpful tool, and is especially useful for people who are presenting or leading discussions to provide a sneak peek of their presentation.Go to our Brainshark Portal
