What's the Schedule?

Friday Evening - Dinner and drinks all around! For those of you interested in doin' a little schmoozin' before the BarCamp kicks in, join us at Johnny's Harborside and lets get to know each other.

Dinner will start at 7:00PM and last until it can't go no mo'.

Dinner Friday night is a no-host event, so we're all paying our own way.

Day 1 - Customer/Community + Industry Day (Bay Area/Santa Cruz pubmedia listeners + pubmedia folks + producers + station managers + hosts) Invites the local community to participate in the future of public media conversation. The goal will be to gain a richer understanding of how public media can better serve the needs of the community and how we can leverage current and emerging technologies. The open conference format will provide an arena to leverage the expertise of the participants and share the collective knowledge of the group to forward the evolution and sustainability of public media.

Registration begins bright and early @ 9:00AM.

Registration closes @ 10:00AM, when we start building the grid! How exciting!

Day 2 - Technology Day (pubmedia + geeks) Hackathon day for programmers to develop a relevant pubmedia project or widget. Participants will learn from others as they go, but the focus is not on instruction. The outcome of the day would be to create working software.
