About
SocialDevCampChicago is a BarCamp-style event for social network, application, and platform developers. A lot of exciting things are happening in social networking with Facebook, OpenSocial, Data Portability, identity mangement, etc, and we're putting this event on to gather the brightest minds in the midwest for a day of fun, learning, and coding.
SocialDevCampChicago was inspired by SocialDevCampEast, hosted on May 10 in Baltimore. The name is borrowed with permission from the SocialDevCampEast crew. Tim Courtney and Andy Angelos are the ones behind this nefarious plan.
