SocialDevCamp Chicago is free to the community, but we are accepting donations in the $10-20 range from any gracious attendee willing to support. We won't hate you if you cannot help :) Below is a listing of expenses with item clarification:

EXPENSE ITEM AMOUNT CURRENT NEEDED
Building $160 $160 --
Food $600 $140 $460
Morning $100 0 $100
After Party $1000 $1000 --
Miscellaneous $40 $40 --
TOTAL $1900 $1340 $560

1. FOOD.

We are hoping to provide pizza and soft drinks during the day for all attendees. Unfortunately, the IIT requires catering be provided through the school (a reasonable exchange for cheap space!) For pepperoni, sausage, veggie, and cheese along with soft drinks, the price will be $600.

2. BUILDING STAFF

Opening the building early on a Saturday and covering the fee for an IT staff member is $100. An extra $60 to open the building early for the event (the weekend staff starts at 10).

3. AFTER PARTY

The activity most of you will not hesitate to fund...an after party at Grace O'Malley's in the South Loop, featuring several hours of complimentary drinks. CIMA was gracious enough to provide partner with us to host the gathering.

4. MORNING

There is a cafe and convenient store in the building, but for better taste and less price Tim is willing to swing by a coffee shop and pick up some growler's of morning brew. An estimated cost of $100, and the likely extra will be distributed to food and misc. below.

5. MISC.

Sharpie markers, nametag stickers, pens, etc are not necessities but nice to have especially considering the diverse group of attendees. This should not cost more than $40.

To donate before the event, contact ANDY at andy.angelos@gmail.com for additional information. We are accepting donations through paypal, cash and/or check.

For donations over $100, we will provide some branding at the event.

Also, non-monetary support via supplies is also needed. Helpful items include powerstrips, markers, scrap paper, etc.
