We'll need people to run the board, announce sessions, and generally keep things moving along.

1) My email message to your organizer at ericaogrady@gmail.com was returned by Google which said "550 550-5.1.1 The email account that you tried to reach does not exist."

-------> Erica's email address has been working for me; I'm sorry you haven't been able to reach her. The event is in New York, NY. I think google maps didn't recognize the zip code that I entered; I just changed the zip code so it no longer should say Long Island. I apologize for the confusion and hope you can still make it to SocialMediaCamp. Regarding the date, we have chosen a weekday since we are part of the Mashable tour. In each city we hold a socialmediacamp during the day and we are a sponsor at the Mashable event held later that evening. We have over 200 people registered right now so we hope you can join us.

2) Your address says New York, NY but the Google map you provide indicates that you are holding the event in Long Island. It it being held in Manhattan or Long Island? FIXED. See above. Sorry for the bad zip code.

Question: These goofs are not good signs for a successful Bar Camp and I'm not sure why you are holding this Bar Camp on a weekday instead of the weekend. Do you really expect 250-400 people to take off work and participate in this?

Sorry to post these questions to this wiki but the only contact information you offered was rejected as invalid by the email provider so this was my only alternative.

---------> Gina, thanks for the information regarding the location. I thought the location would be midtown so I was to see the map saying it was being held in Rockaway. I'm not sure why Erica's Gmail message bounced back to me. I sent her a Tweet but also didn't get a reply to that either. I'm not sure of your connection to Social Media Camp but I appreciate you taking the time to respond. It's too bad the organizers don't regularly check their own wiki.

Thanks, LP
