What is BlogCamp Mumbai Stlye
BlogCampMumbaiStyle is a free unconference focusing exclusively on blogging, organized by bloggers for bloggers. It‘s built upon the principles of the famous BarCamp (ad-hoc unconference) focussed on sharing, learning and new ideas.
This is going to be an intense event with discussions, demos and interaction between attendees. Any blogger who wants to contribute is welcome and invited to join.
Why We Need Sponsors
BlogCampMumbaiStyle is free to attend, but organizing an event like this incurs many expenses. In order for the event to succeed we need donations from sponsors who want to support and get involved with blogging and social/new media. No one makes money from BlogCampMumbaiStyle.
Expected Expenses
We are expecting that we will need around Rs 2 Lacs to pull off this event (may be able to pull for less, if certain things go our way in coming days like venue, food etc).
Sponsorship Levels
We are not looking at huge chunks of money, we would rather be happy with smaller amount of money from various companies and individual as that will help in getting in variety of people.
As we have made it clear that we are planning to raise Rs2 Lacs for the event, so we are typically looking for 2 to 3 sponsors who can give us money in range of 20,000 to 80,000. We will be declaring all the sponsors (amount sponsored and money left to raise) on our wiki the day our deal is finalized.
Keeping all these guidelines in mind here are the Levels of sponsorship:

1. Please don't sponsor BlogCampPune as a favor to us. Do this if it makes sense for you or your business. We don't anticipate a shortage of sponsor interest.
2. If we had to choose between you attending the event and you sponsoring the event, we'd much go for you attending the event.
3. None of us are in this thing for money, we are all here for the love of Blogosphere and it's betterment.
