Folks Who Are Interested (but unsure if they can make it)...
- Paul Gowder -- Stanford grad student -- this is very interesting and I'd really like to go to it. HOWEVER: I strongly suggest bumping it a couple weeks. Reason? Stanford academic calendar starts pretty late in the fall. Mid or late September could pick up many academic-types who wouldn't be there earlier. Including myself. I don't arrive until Sept. 11ish. Anyway, if I go, I can help organize and can also offer talking on sundry things relating to the law (I have a JD and lots of geek-interested law knowledge), politics, etc. [Sorry the timing may not work for you. The weekend was chosen to correspond with BarCampEarth and also because it is intersession - making venues and camping space easier to get. -- Todd]
- Dean Chen- I might come on Sunday
- Lorin Thwaits (from Phoenix. If I end up coming then I can bring a projector if that helps at all)
- Raines Cohen - possible Friday evening visitor, but Saturday I'm off to help build BurningMan, so unlikely I can stay at Stanford for the long haul.
- Christopher Lin - undeclared Stanford undergrad '09. This looks awesome, but it'll really depend on what kind of transportation I can finagle. I don't know much to share, but I can help in whatever areas need support. See StanfordRideSharing
- JoshuaReeves - Part-time Stanford Grad Student (MSEE) and working full-time at Zazzle, a start-up in Palo Alto. I'd love to make it but I will be leaving for Shanghai on the 24th. I look forward to future Barcamps in the area!
- Rachel M. Murray - user experience designer who can help/volunteer who can't make it to this one but is also looking forward to future Barcamps! One during the academic school year and not Burning Man would be excellent.
- jose d lopez - TUMIS - Looking to free up some time to make it on Saturday or Sunday.
- Will come by on Friday evening. Unsure about Saturday. Rashmi Sinha Uzanto/ MindCanvas
- Will come by on Friday evening. Unsure about Saturday. Jonathan Boutelle Uzanto/ MindCanvas
