Agenda (The plan in a draft form)

 

StartupCampWaterloo is going to use a set schedule of 20 min presentations for at least the first event. The community does have input however so please add comments next to events or add your own. It would be great to have too many things to cover!

 

  1. Main speaker - Albert Lai - on whatever he wants to talk about to an audience of existing and potential start ups
  2. food (be social)
  3. How and how not to launch - AideRSS
  4. break (start talking to people)
  5. Funding - how it feels - Well.ca
  6. break (some more socializing)
  7. Marketing challenges, crossing chasm - Freshbooks.com? or Make your product so easy and good that they won't go any where else? or Legal?
  8. break (socialize)
  9. How to get cheap labour (co-op students not offshore)? and manage them? (we need a startup example of this)

 

Over the evening experts in certain topic areas will be identified, the idea is to use the break time to have small group discussions.
