Introducing - The Lafayette CampFiber!

 

Inspired by the community, ad hoc, unconference model of BarCamp, and driven by the desire to spark the imagination of developers to create the next generation of big bandwidth applications, the Lafayette CampFiber will bring together local developers in the Lafayette area to discuss the opportunities being created by the deployment of LUSFiber, soon to be one of the fastest residential networks in the country.

 

Date: July 16th, 2009

Time: 5pm - 7pm

Where: Travis Technology Center in Lafayette, LA.

 

It will feature the following components:

 

  • Presentations by attendees on issues related to application development
  • Q&A with LUS on issues related to the network relevant to app development
  • Discussions related to creating the ecosystem needed in Lafayette to foster the growth of application developers and their companies
