What is it?
TuneCamp is a fun event (which is most likely, a party) to hold true music tasters and musicians’ interests in a very comprehensive and practical way. The idea of TuneCamp is basically a get-down-with-music gathering, its goal is to widen up people’s culture and perspectives of music, making people aware of what culture and point is behind every thing they listen to, making them able to discover more, and always having an in-depth take towards new stuff…
TuneCamp is not only about music, it takes attendees down with a wider knowledge of Encoding Technologies, ID3, Normalizing and hardcore reviews about Media Players and how to make tell the good from the bad. TuneCamp aims to encourage everyone to care more about their music library, to properly organize them, and making a large scale of music management even more fun and easy.
TuneCamp holds non-stop parties, help and more information everywhere, presentations and show-offs. More than that, is the ability to promote your own original works and making them widely available to everyone, a good way for musicians to let their voices be heard.
Activities
TagCamp: Properly tag your music
RipCamp: Rip original CDs and tag them
HarvestCamp: Collect what you’re looking for
ReviewCamp: Write about your music… Spread the word and get your blog famous.
What you get…
1- Well, I’m thinking that handing you a free T-Shirt (Which is actually included with the attendee’s ticket), is something sweet, T-Shirts rock, don’t they? I’m still not sure about this one, but I’ll try to make this available in a decent quality.
2- There are some benefits for supporters and volunteers. I don’t know who’s that will be, but probably a Super-T-Shirt tagged with the volunteer’s name, nickname or code! Isn’t that great enough? No?
More to expect there…
1- Presentations about encoding technologies, ID3, Media Libraries, Platforms and Essential Music Production Environments.
2- Attendee’s Best Hit Radio - Display showing the song info with Albumart (Attendee’s name and code) (Open Queue List)
3- New Local Artist Announcement - Including a demo? Or a little interview?
4- Snack & Drinks Buffet (The Cannibal’s Treat)
5- Free mp3 album of TuneCamp Hits with albumart (1 Duo Segment for each event)
6- Free mp3 album of TuneCamp Demos (Same as TuneCamp Hits along making them available online)
