What is TwittBkk?
TwittBkk is a party of Twitter users (so-called twitter-ers, or tweeple) that is adapted from TwittDay, which, so far, has been organised in 4 major cities around the world. The concept of TwittBkk is simple, that is, gathering together, having a party, chit-chatting, and encouraging people before the upcoming BarCampBangkok #2 and MashCamp in July 2008.
TwittBkk Fashion
The atmophere for TwittBkk is nothing, but BarCamp style + party. That is, all participants are required to talk about something as well as to communicate with other participants without using Twitter. There is no need to present a topic at the front or on the stage, but need to be interactive with others in the party. Everybody will discuss about and share their ideas, or even prepare themselves a topic for any upcoming events.
Registration
Anybody who is interested in joining TwittBkk is required to register prior to the event. Before registering, please login to the registration page by using your Twitter account/ password, e.g. sugree or molecular. This will allow you to edit any information added later on.
When and where?
The event will be held at a restaurant, called Circle of Friends, located at Soi Sathorn 10, on Sathorn Road, behind Joy Kindergarten School (Chuan-Chuen Kindergarten School), and opposite of Saeng-Arun Library. The tentative date for the event is on 28th June 2008, at 1pm. All expenses for foods and drinks that may incur during the party will have to be born/ shared by all participants since we have not had any sponsor for this event yet.
We need to get the exact number of seats early. Please register as soon as possible.
