AltMediaCamp - Envisioning & Building the New Media Experience

 

This gathering will bring people together who are working on CREATING media content, tools, sites, apps, and more, and those who aspire to do that. From content creators to developers, entrepreneurs to digital artists, how can we support new media innovation in Lebanon, and more competitive media startup ventures? 

 

Come share your ideas, teach, learn, connect, collaborate, and have fun! 

 

BarCamp is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from attendees.

When: Saturday, July 30, 2011

Where: AltCity (media / tech / social impact collaboration space), Hamra District, Beirut, Lebanon 

What: A fun, flexible, action-oriented, "open source", techie, learning, networking gathering ...  This is the last event of the AltMedia Experience week (July 25-30, 2011), which is bringing together over 15 groups for workshops, discussions, cultural / social gatherings, and more related to alternative media, media production, and creative expression.
