Websites of the future? More like websites of TODAY! Amirite?!

Eric will explain why we used to be held back on the web, and why that's no longer the case. He'll show you how you can use tomorrow's technology on the web today. His thought-provoking presentation asks you to stop asking why, and start asking why not?

Eric was the opening act at the "Websites of the Future" Panel from GTC East last month that was packed beyond capacity. He's back to dig a bit deeper into the topic and show off the demos he didn't have time to show during his allotted time slot at GTC.

Step Away from the SmartPhone: Take Some Time to Think about Mobile (strategically) Open floor discussion for anyone on any aspect or issue that has arisen or should be considered as government goes mobile. I'd like to take a step back to look at mobile strategically from a policy / management / organizational perspective within the technological innovation. What issues do we need to understand as we pursue the opportunities in mobile? A sample question for this session would not be ‘Should we develop an iPhone app?’, but ‘How would such development impact my organization, what issues might arise or be addressed?’. And consider not just citizen-facing apps, but mobile within the internal workforce, agency-to-agency, and private-public collaboration. Jim Costello (moderator)
